Our 200 hour program is a Modern approach to Yoga.
Our intent is to teach you how to integrate various styles of somatic movements through yin, restorative and vinyasa yoga. These therapeutic supple movements combined with breath work can help us free our bodies from tension, habitual negative patterns and deep seated emotions. We encourage our students to hear and understand their Intuition, through reflection, patience and compassion.
We look into what stress does to our nervous system, our hormones and our tissues. Enliven your senses and fill your self with whole foods, harmonizing smells and movement activities that compliment our seasons. This keeps your practice playful and creative. We work with Arise True to provide some dynamic fun as they introduce you to acro yoga! This practice builds trust, increases your cueing skilling and rebuilds your sense of community.
Introducing gentle hands on assists through the bodywork techniques of Thai Massage. From a Trauma Informed perspective, the intention of the assists are to provide one with a secure sense of relaxation. We value the healing in true loving touch, and offering a save space for those looking to unwind and let go. Our students have an excellent awareness of anatomy, taught hands on By Kristen Sommers RMT and Personal Trainer. Students are taught to provide a non judgemental, expectation free practice which is safe and supportive. Our students are provided with the skills to work one on one, design and instruction a class as well as set up and run successful workshops through out the year.
Our Trainings are held at 596189 HWY 59 North Hickson Ontario. At the Benevolent Barn Studio.

Training includes your manual, any outing and events we plan. Meals will be provided on Sundays.
We do have all the supplies you need, but ask you to bring your own Mat.
Prepare for your training
We accept practitioners with a willingness to learn and grow. It is recommended you have been practicing yoga for a few months or have an alternative holistic health modality.
We offer One on One Yoga training for anyone wanting to dive deeper into the practice before committing to a training.
We use many of the tricks from “Cool Yoga Tricks” by Miriam Austin.
One weekend every three weeks, for 9 months, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-5pm. Lunch and snack breaks are provided.

Upon completion of your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will be recognized as a certified Yoga Teacher through the Canadian Yoga Alliance. The Canadian Yoga Alliance is a member of the International Yoga Federation.
